West-Flemish Hills mountainbike route, Kemmel (Heuvelland)
The Regional Landscape West-Flemish Hills and Les Monts de Flandre (France) have a lot to offer when it comes to mountain biking. The glowing landscape, the dense woods, the grand panoramic views and the numerous unpaved roads form the ideal scenery for this type of recreation. The six routes on Flemish side and the two circuits on French soil make some 277 kilometres of sporty biking pleasure. The six routes in the Regional Landscape West-Flemish Hills are: Zonnebeke (38 km), Ieper (31 km), Poperinge (37 km), Nieuwkerke (Heuvelland, 41 km), Kemmel (Heuvelland, 27 km) and Kemmel (Heuvelland, 37 km). The two routes in the North of France are: ‘Circuits Fraude et Estaminets’ 33km (Frauds and Pubs circuit) and ‘Circuit Mont Noir et Musées’ 33km (Black Mountain and Museum Circuit). Both circuits have different distances and difficulty degrees so they are well suited for children, starting and also more experiences bikers. Only available in Dutch.
