Trains are an integral part of Lijssenthoek, located along the railway between Poperinge and Hazebrouck.
The visitor arrives in a dark room, with the prominent station diorama (Exhibition ‘Heavy Traffic’ – 2014). The diorama is a historic display of the train activity in Poperinge, in the year 1917. An immersive experience, created by Sven Verhaeghe and David Poltrock, starts up regularly.
